I used to think of 7-Eleven as a place to get cigarettes, condoms, and Gatorade Double Gulps, but there has been a real revolution inside the walls of this 24 hours giant. Everywhere you look there are affordable options for eats, drinks, and hats commemorating the election of our 44th President, Barack Obama. Some of the real highlights include:
- Burrito rollers - They are delicious and they come in both breakfast and chicken and cheese options.
- 7-Eleven generic frozen foods - They got chicken nuggets, popcorn chicken, wings, Breaded Onion Peel (Bloomin’ Onion), Ice Cream and more.
- Taquitos - Just an array of options here. Buffalo Chicken, Jalapeño Cream Cheese, Monterrey Jack and Chicken, Steak and Cheese, and Taco and Cheese.
- Sandwiches - Too many to go into detail, but the Italian and Egg Salad come highly recommended.
- Beverages - They have a great selection of sodas that include a bitchin’ cherry cola and a strawberry soda I find quite refreshing. They also dabble in iced teas, I suggest the peach.
These are just some of the highlights that make 7-Eleven more than just a place to buy rolling papers and porno mags. I didn’t even get into the fact that the big bite hot dog is just delightful. Oh, thank heaven.
