A district in Indonesia has enacted a “Tight Pants Ban” for its Muslim residents. 20,000 long dresses were supplied to authorities who have already begun detaining law-breaking citizens. The Islamic fashion police confiscate the pants of anyone whose attire is deemed ‘too tight’ and give them a pre-made unrevealing long dress to wear, while trying not to sniff the evidence in private later. Shopkeepers (they are still called this in Indonesia) have also been banned from selling any risque’ attire (like blue jeans) with the loss of their business licenses at stake. Affected local businesses there include upstart Muslim hipster clothing companies like Meulaboh Apparel, Ummayad Cargo, and Zakat’s House of Pants.
“No, no, no….TOO tight.” said a police officer about one woman’s pair of slacks before their removal.
Luckily, Indo police officers also wear loose fitting uniforms, which help hide their massive boners during the process.
