KFC’s new Double Down sandwich consists two slices of Monterrey Jack and Pepper Jack cheese, two slices of bacon, and a special secret sauce.
The twist?
There isn’t any bun. The contents are sandwiched between two fried chicken filets.
The Double Down shakes out to be 540 calories, 32 grams of fat , and 1,380 milligrams of sodium. KFC, of course, offers a grilled version that somehow exceeds the fried sandwich in sodium.
