Topeka renames itself Google, Kansas

In an attempt to gain attention for google’s ‘fiber for communities’ program, 79 year old Topeka Kansas mayor Bill Bunten has changed his city’s name to “Google, Kansas” for the month of march.  he hopes that young residents of Topeka could benefit from the program installing new internet connections in his city and in turn, making the city a more attractive marketplace for young people and increased commerce.  young people entering the city are advised not to pick up hitch hitchhikers.
