I distinctly recall the above picture hanging in my grade school. To a 10 year old, of course that is how Jesus looked. What a handsome man! What a muscular neck and perfect complexion.
It never crossed our minds that this man that we call Jesus was from the Middle East and not from Sacramento, California.
Why is it so wrong to picture Jesus as someone that probably looks more like Osama Bin Laden and less like Kenny Rogers?
