| while watching john shuster skip my beloved u.s. curling team to an unacceptable 0-4 start in the vancouver olympics, i noticed that nbc has really been pushing their show American Greed during commercial breaks at the games. i’m all for bashing corporate america and domestic sickies alike, but don’t use the olympics as a way to increase ratings for THAT show. ”watch team usa in the olympics on nbc! and catch ‘american greed’ on cnbc!” i wonder how much was nbc gouging prices for advertising space anyway. its bad enough olympic “sponsors” think real olympians drink coca-cola and eat mcdonalds every day. well, at least im pretty sure they don’t. unless you are john shuster. |
