The latest chapter of the world’s most disappointing basketball program is just unbelievable. Athletic Director Jeanie Lenti Ponsetto has broken NCAA rules after commenting on a recruit. According to rules, no school can comment on a recruit until he or she signs with the program.
The recruit? Oh yeah, he is a 14 year old boy. A god damned child! DePaul is in hot water because they are going after an eighth grader! The kid is currently 6 foot 7. Doctors project him to top out at 7’3. Okay, that’s all good and grand, but do you think that there is any way that this kid is actually going to end up in Lincoln Park? All he needs is John Calipari or Coach K to step into his living room, and he will headed out Chicago faster then Derrick Rose or Dwayne Wade.
In one of the best sports cities on Earth, DePaul is truly a void. How is it possible to completely strike out on Chicago talent year after year? Well, I can tell you why.
