AP)- robbie waters, a 14 year old at coatesville high in coatesville, IN has recently become increasingly secluded, according to his mother joan.
“he will just sit in his room and listen to music while looking at his freshman year book for hours after school and on the weekends. i don’t know what is wrong.”
a sophomore football teammate who wished to remained unnamed added that robbies longtime girlfriend of 6 weeks, rachel practer, broke up with him to pursue an on-and-off fling with reserved, art-class classmate melvin jacob leary.
“he just doesn’t enjoy things he used to. we passed a dead possum walking home from school the other day and didn’t even poke it with a stick.”
liner notes from 2001′s break the cycle by post-grunge band staind were found by waters’ stepdad rick while sorting his white and dark laundry. when confronted about the find, robbie was defensive at first, but buckled under the stepdad’s persistent questioning. in a fit of rage, waters claimed that nobody understood how he was feeling and said he hated his mother and rick, then locked himself in his room and blasted the live version of “outside” for the next several hours.”its a phase, ya know. my oldest daughter lori went through a similar thing when her boyfriend was killed in a dirtbike accident. she could not stop listening to jesus jones. he’ll get over it,” rick added. he then lit up a doral with a gold zippo and gazed out the window of the kitchen which was slightly cracked open, as to not let the rain in.
