“Del Negro firing Imminent” according to general public

273

“Vinny” Del Negro who came to fill the vacant Chicago Bulls head coaching job in 2008 seems to be on his way out.  The Bulls have struggled to say the least in the early going, notably giving away a 35 point lead in the fourth quarter to the lowly Sacramento Kings.  This alone is not worthy of the firing of Del Negro, but everything else definitely helps.  Reports had come out that during a practice Del Negro caused a massive scene with cameras rolling as he screamed repeatedly “Pull up your shorts! Pull up your Shorts” to star point guard Derrick Rose.  The scene became increasingly uncomfortably as Del Negro tore away his adidas pants to reveal his old San Antonio player shorts, and then grabbing the ball from rose, and posing in the “triple threat position”.  Reportedly he had to be taken off the court by assistant Pete Myers and taken back to the coaches office.

Players reacted after the incident.  Brad Miller was quoted to say “Coach’s shorts are too short.”

This incident coupled with an dismal start to the season has seemingly brought Del Negro’s tour with the Bulls to an end, with this confirmed by inside information that reports Del Negro has already put a down payment on franchising a BoRics hair salon.
