[Yahoo!] After much speculation, imgross’ Webmaster Phelps gave a very public apology in Chicago’s Daley Plaza on Wednesday based on reports of his viewing of “New Moon”. With Ceo Scott’s hand on Phelps’ shoulder, the webmaster said:
“The reports are absolutely true. I saw “New Moon” on Sunday evening…alone. I have no excuses. I would like to apologize to ceo scott. He has given me so much in a time of such economic turmoil. I didnt mean to throw it all back into his face like this. Scott and I have sat down and spoken. We are both in agreement that romantic vampires do not have a place in my life. To the readers of the site, I apologize. I only hope I can slowly rebuild your trust. That is all.”
A distraught Phelps, walked off stage and straight into a friend’s Chevy Cavalier. Ceo Scott dressed in his traditional star spangled cape, took the mic after the apology. After answering a few questions, he hinted that the webmaster might need to take some time off on the heels of such embarassment. The ceo declared the issue closed, left the stage, and rode away in his platinum plated rockit car.
