The biggest fight news of late was not the win by MMA veteran Randy Couture over Brandon Vera, and certainly not Manny Pacquiao’s TKO versus Miguel Cotto. It was Yuri Foreman’s decision edge over Daniel Santos in the 154 lb division. Foreman, a fighter and aspiring Rabbi claimed victory via points in a dramatic 12-round contest. The win solidifies his name along with other Jewish greats Ezra “The Gentile Smasher” Levinstein and Avi “Too Pretty” Feigenbaum. From right to left the fight was all Foreman, using the crowd’s booming chant of “Second Coming! Second Coming” to help secure the victory.
