CNN reports. Internet viruses do more than they used to. Before, the virus would slow down your computer or expose your personal information. These days? My oh my, how things have changed. Computer viruses can now peg you for child pornography. Pedophile hacker’s now can store their kiddy porn library…on your computer. You might not realize your new collection until the police come knocking on the door. A recent investigation have found numerous cases in which innocent, normal porn-looking people have been accused of kiddy porn because a loved one or co worker found such files stored on the computer.
“It’s a classic example of the old ‘dog ate my homework excuse” ( I didnt look at kiddy porn, I swear, some pedophile computer hacker stored his files on my computer!) says, Phil Malone, director of Cyberlaw Clinic at Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Security. “The problem is, sometimes the dog does eat your homework”.
