Science Has Caught Up to Shakespeare

Apparently if Mark Roth had been around in the sixteenth century and been the apothecary in Romeo and Juliet, we would have been actually been able to believe one of the bard’s great classics.  Yes, that’s right, this biologist has discovered a way to give a rat poison that will put it in suspended animation but not kill it.  I wonder if this 50 year old science nerd has a star-crossed lover and must fake his own death.
