This commercial has been on for a few months. We need to discuss this. It is completely absurd. They clearly want to convey that having this AT&T text plan can connect you to the world with a click of the button…thats fine. We get it. But, why is Tyler Hansbrough in it? And why does he want to help find this little girl’s dog? Tyler should have a ton more things to do (like this this or this) then help find Sarah the Jack Russell Terrier. I think it would have been more appropriate if when the girl sees Hansbrough on her stoop, instead of getting excited about him finding the dog, she goes, “What the fuck is Tyler Hansbrough doing here?”. That, or Tyler has a illegitimate black daughter we dont know about.
