So this was a friend’s status update the other day. Deep stuff, I know, but it got me thinking. Clearly this is directed at someone. What’s the proper response to this? Do you change your status to one of Will.I.Am’s lyrics? Perhaps “I will fly, i’ll fly the skies, for you and I (for you and I) I will try, until I die, for you and i, for you and i, for for for you and i, For for for you and i, for for you and i, for you and i.” Also, what kind of a statement is she making by putting this up on facebook? Obviously she wants your shit, and has no problem expressing that in bizzare ways. In my opinion, now’s the time to push for anal. Before you do that though you should probably explain to her the purposes of facebook and the Black Eyed Peas. We’ve all come to expect stupid Black Eyed Peas lyrics in status updates and photo albums, but this is really embarassing.

the more i think about this the more fired up i get. i am obviously not on the same page as the rest of society…posts like this come across my facebook feed daily. if my girlfriend did something like post black eyed pea’s lyrics to somehow illustrate how she feels about me i would dump her instantly. imagine trying to sit around the dinner table having a serious discussion with this woman about something important like finances…all i would be able to see would be will i am’s stupid face on her body. would she try and quote some U2 song to help explain how she feels about our families finnancial state? and at what age does this shit end, i mean the women i associate with are in thier mid 20’s now…are they going to be posting black eyed peas lyrics when they are 28, or 30, or 35. if they have kids and one of thier kids screws up are they going to discipline them by quoting some clever john mayer lyric? this could be one of my bigest pet peaves that myles has hit upon here. i dont expect thier to be any other comments in this matter because no one could possibly defend such stupid practices.
