in a shocking turn of events, at about 10:30 cst, chicago was the first city to get eliminated to host the 2016 olympic games.
the voting process is as follows: each city is given a number 1-4. the delegates vote on the cities. if no city gets the majority then the last city in number of votes is eliminated…which was i guess chicago? wow. then the process continues until one is chosen. man, good thing imgross.org didnt bet on chicago winning the bid. how embarrassing! all things aside. all controversy and budget issues aside. we rolled out the big guns for this! obamas and oprah? how did we not win on sheer star power? JESUS, at least to the second round of voting? fail. epic fail. there are numerous reports of news stations going to local chicago schools to get kids’ reaction to the olympic bid victory..there are sobbing kids all across chicagoland!….stay tuned to imgross for developments.
all that work. all that preparation. just a complete waste. all those 2016 chicago tshirts will end up being donated to a third world city…probably somewhere like…rio de janeiro. the joke is on rio though, according to the aztec calendar, the world ends in 2012 anyways.
