the other day scott and i were discussing the geologist look after seeing some guy get out of his subaru hatchback. geologists have a very specialized look, and although it can be any number of combinations of things, geologists are easily recognizable. you can go with the completely balding but sick beard and small glasses, or the long hair and wispy moustache look. these are all interchangeable with a floppy brown hat (with or without string attatched), khaki shorts/shirt or denim shorts/pants/shirt, or any combination of the afforementioned. tie it all together with a nice rock hammer hanging off the belt and you my friend are ready to say…….”hello, im ________ _________ u.s. geol |
it’s all about the facial hair. sitting in the field looking at rocks, one needs a nice stache/beard/huge eyebrows to stroke and piece the puzzle together.
