haiku: birthday

hey its your birthday
you look so miserable
no i wont fuck you.

here is the original draft on cocktail napkin:

there was some debate about how many syllables were in miserable. this resulted in a group of drunk people clapping out the sounding of the word repeatedly.  but somehow through drunken haze general pope managed to successfully write another haiku. what a guy.
