Ginger-Little Person marriage takes predictable turn

I know this is a week old or whatever, but I wanted to add my 2 cents.  At first glance, I wasn’t sure what to think of this.  I mean, sure, it’s funny, but I wasn’t sure which side to take.  Like it or not, many people see their significant other as some form of validation of themselves.  “My husbands a doctor,” “my wife’s a former Miss Texas,” “my boyfriend’s a senior contributor at imgross.org,” are just some of the things said with pride by significant others across the world every day.    You never hear anyone boasting “my husband was the little person on ‘Diff’rent Strokes,’” because being married to Gary Coleman just serves as a daily reminder of your failures.  That said, domestic violence is never ok, even when it’s so comedic.  If you want to make Gary Coleman you’re slampiece for life that’s your decision, but don’t take it out on the poor bastard when you realize you made a horrible mistake.
