euphemisms are the future of parenting

bridge-450

Joey McGuire, 12, was killed yesterday when he jumped off a bridge, plummeting to his death. His best friend Stevey Masalewski, also 12, was unharmed. “I remember one time I told my dad that Joey had gotten his ear pierced and I wanted to get mine pierced too and he said, ‘If Joey McGuire jumps off the Brooklyn Bridge are you gonna do it too?’ and that always stuck with me. “Thank God for just straight up old school parenting,” said Peter Masalewski, the boy’s father. “Forget all these parents who are putting their kids in therapy and giving them psychiatric drugs; time tested euphemisms are the future of parenting.”
